What is Vapor Phase Drying?

Vapor Phase Drying is an advanced technological process for removing moisture from transformer insulation.

It utilizes hydrocarbon (generally Kerosene) to add heat concurrently with vacuum drying. The kerosene vapor shifts the heat directly to the transformer, ensuring highly efficient moisture extraction.

The Drying Process

The process uses Hydrocarbon Vapor to transfer heat to the transformer. Because vapors expand and penetrate, they can reach the most difficult and dense areas of the transformer core and coils.

This ensures the drying results are optimum and perfectly even. The actual drying of the transformer is done under a deep vacuum to achieve the best possible results.
